Overview

An easy and refreshing 4 kilometer river trek experience near Dion, on the eastern side of Mount Olympus. According to legend, the ancient river Orlias vanished in shame and reappeared outside Dion, creating the spectacular waterfalls and lush landscapes you explore today.This tour follows a perennial mountain stream through dense vegetation, crystal waters and natural pools.

Combining hiking and refreshing swims, it is an ideal outdoor activity for families, couples, and nature lovers.

Full Itinerary

Meet your guides at the starting point. After a short briefing, begin a scenic 50-minute walk toward the river.

The route moving alongside running water and shaded paths. The highlight of the trek is the famous Red Rock waterfall where you can swim and enjoy the cold mountain waters.

  • Meeting point: Saints Constantine & Helen Chapel, Rema Orlias, Dion
  • Meeting time: 10:00 am
  • End of activity: 14:00
